Day 1: Arrival Delhi
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: In Delhi
Morning city tour visiting Qutab minar, India gate (war memorial), Lotus temple, Lakshminarayan temple a modern hindu temple. Drive past President’s house, Parliament house and Secretariat building. Also visit Raj ghat and Shanti vana the Cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red fort (Red fort is closed on every Monday) and Chandni chowk/ Overnight at hotel.
Afternoon leave for Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check in at pre booked hotel.
Day 03: In Jaipur
Morning half day excursion toÂ Amber fort, the ancient capital of the state until 1728. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory glittering with mirrors, Jai mahal and Temple of Kali. Ascend on Elephant Back, the hill, on which the fort is situated.
Proceed for city sightseeing tour visiting Maharaja’s City Palace and the Observatory, drive past Hawa Mahal or the Palace of winds and through the Rose-pink residential and Business areas of Jaipur.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
After breakfast, depart for Agra. Enroute visit the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri : built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory. Continue drive to Agra. Arrival Agra in the evening and check-in at pre booked hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05: Agra - Delhi
After breakfast, city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 and the highlight of the day – The Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Contruction of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. Afternoon free for individual activities. Afternoon, depart for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and check- in at pre booked hotel.
Day 06: Delhi - Amritsar (Train)
Morning transfer to the railway station to board train for Amritsar. On arrival in Amritsar meet and assist at the airport and transfer to pre-booked hotel.
Day 07: Amritsar - Delhi (Train)
After breakfast, visit the Golden Temple – the holiest shrine of the Sikh religion, also known as Hari Mandir; Jallianwala Bagh -cre is told in the Martyrs’ Gallery and a section of wall with bullet marks still visible is preserved, as the well into which some people jumped to escape can be seen; Ram Bagh – a beautiful garden has a museum built by Sikh Maharaja Ranjit Sing and has weapons dating back to Mughal time and some portraits of ruling houses of Punjab. Afternoon transfer to the railway station to board train for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, meet and assist at the airport and transfer to pre-booked hotel.
